Instructions

Please read these instructions fully before commencing update. We recommend that you print this page before starting.

Check the version number of your program

Note your version number from the About Share Manager window.

Close the About Share Manager window.

Close Share Manager.

Important!

Ensure that you have closed Share Manager before installing the Update.

Check the current update version

If your version number is the same as or greater than 2001.5 you do not need to update your copy. Click on the What's New tab below to look at what has changed with each update.

Otherwise use the following instructions.

Download the Update Program

The File Download dialog box will appear.

Select the Save this program to disk option button.

Click the OK button

The Save As dialog will appear. Note the location where the update program will be saved.

Click the OK button.

Run the Update Program

Find and run the program update-2001-5.exe from the location noted above.

The Winzip Self-Extractor - Update-2001-5.exe window will appear.

Click the Unzip button.

Click the Yes button in answer to the overwrite question.

The new version of Share Manager will be installed.

Click the OK button

Click the Close button

You will now see the new version number on the startup screen when you next start Share Manager.
