This is where Share Manager handles all transactions relating to the buying and selling of your share and unit holdings. As well as the buying and selling of shares other transactions include Instalment Receipts, Capital Returns, Reconstructions such as Share Splits and Bonus Issues.

Share Manager does not 'rewrite history'. When you enter a special transaction such as a capital reconstruction, it does not change your previous transactions. Share Manager interprets the transaction appropriately when it is required in any calculations. In this way, your paper records will always match your computer records.

When you sell shares or units, Share Manager performs all the necessary tax calculations. If you are selling part of a shareholding, you can select particular shares to maximise or minimise your tax liability.
